AniMeals Program
Providing Hope and Nourishment to Pets in Need
AniMeals is a program that provides supplemental pet food to pet owners in need throughout Contra Costa County. In 2012 CCHS saw a need to help Contra Costa residents who needed resources to feed their pets.
Today, dedicated volunteers prepare packages of quality dog and cat food that is distributed throughout the month at several locations across our community to pet owners in need. The goal for this program is to support pet owners to enable them to continue to keep and care for their pets.
AniMeals distributed over 30,000 pounds annually of food to over 4,900 pet owners, and the program continues to grow. We can’t do it without kind donations and support from supporters.
