Ginger

Ginger is an approximately five-year old Chihuahua and Shi-Tzu mix who weighs about 25 lbs. She is a very cute and loving dog who craves affection. She wants to be the center of attention and will follow her person(s) around always showing curiosity in everything they do.

Ginger responds well to basic commands and has good “recall” and knows “go potty”. She does well on a leash. She is house trained and crate trained, and loves to play with toys and other dogs, as well as children of all ages. She is also good with cats.

Ginger has a sensitive skin condition that affects her once in a while, so she tends to scratch a lot and it is not due to fleas. She also is very protective of her people once she gets comfortable with them and may bark at strangers who enter the house. She can be alone for several hours without any problem, but she would definitely prefer having someone around as much as possible.

Ginger is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She would do well in any home that will be able to provide her with the love and attention she needs. She, in turn, will be a loving companion to her person/people.
