Rose and Lilly

Meet sisters’ Rose and Lilly, approximately 7-½ years old.  The owner is moving out of the country and needs to find a forever home that will adopt both of them as they are a bonded pair.

They have always been very shy and don’t want actual human contact (pets), but they are very well behaved.  They are both about 9 lbs., are litter-box trained, and only use scratch pads for their nails.

Lilly lays on a heated pad in the winter on the table in the bedroom, next to the current owners while Rose guards the bedroom door at night. They follow us in the kitchen for treats!  They each like watching birds, sitting on their cat tree, and chasing lasers, balls, and sometimes just each other!

Since they don’t want to be petted, their ideal adopter should be willing to take it slow. It would be best to keep them in one room for a while until they acclimate, especially if there are other cats in the house. They’re ok with other cats, probably not with dogs, and no little children please.

They deserve a place where they can live out their days safely and happily, on their own terms.

Both kitties are spayed and up to date on vaccines.  If you’re looking for cats who will add a touch of wild beauty to your life, without the demands of  typical house cats, Rose and Lilly are the perfect pair. If you have a heart for independent cats and a safe space for them to thrive, please reach out.
