Listed below are the dogs we currently have available for adoption.  We are a small, non-profit organization and have only as many animals available for adoption as we have foster homes.  Please note that we are not the county animal shelter - all of our animals are in foster care and can be met by appointment only.

The adoption process:  If you are interested in adopting any of the animals listed below, please download and complete an adoption application for the dog or puppy of choice.  Once completed, please email, fax, or mail the application to our office.  Once received and approved, we will be able to set up a time for you & your family to meet the dog or puppy of interest.

Chuck Smiling-1.jpg (31827 bytes)Life is one big adventure for this little guy! Chuck is small for his full-grown, 25lb. body, but his personality will bowl you over! Chuck is a very happy little terrier mix, full of zest and spunk and loves anyone andChuck Kitchen_edited-1-1.jpg (17064 bytes) everyone he meets.  We have no idea just what he's a mix of, as his head is somewhat blocky like an American PitBull Terrier, but he's so small... was it a Pitbull / Chihuahua rendezvous??  Regardless, Chuck's decided that while he has a big-dog mentality, he definitely prefers laps over anything else, so when you're near the floor, be ready for a lap buddy and a face-licking! His ideal mate would be an active person(s) who loves life and wants to live it to it's fullest with a four-legged friend.

Chuck is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years of age, is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on his vaccines. He currently is in a home with another resident dog (a Shih Tzu) and does really well with other dogs, although he is very excitable and playful around other canines, so needs a home where if other dogs are present, they can match his energy level. He loves tennis balls and will happily play fetch, which has proved to be a great tool in Mog and Chuck-1.jpg (32711 bytes)expending some of that puppy play energy. Again, he's a very small 25lbs, so is a perfect travel size for weekend adventures!

Chuck is a quick learner and does well with positive reinforcement training techniques. As with any young dog, he will flourish in a home where training is continual.

If you are interested in learning more about or meeting Chuck, please complete an adoption application (above) for this lovable, cuddly, happy-go-lucky guy!

Paws for thought... Just this year alone, 3-4 million animals will be euthanized - more than a quarter-million each month, 405 each hour,       one every nine seconds.

A devastating number of unwanted and unplanned animals are born each year without the guarantee of a forever home.  Each home found for these animals means one less home for an already-alive shelter animal facing euthanasia.  If you could do something simple to help end this needless destruction, wouldn't you?

PLEASE spay, neuter, adopt and spread the word!

We can all make a difference in the lives of these animals.
